Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

The atmosphere at Mississippi State and within the College of Education is truly indescribable.  While in the process of making the decision of where I wanted to spend the next four years, I attended an Academic Insight day within the College of Education-this was the day I officially decided I wanted to be a bulldog.You can truly feel a sense of family that spans acrosss the entire campus of MSU, and the passion for education and deep desire to make positive change within the schools of our state is something that strengthens this familial bond within the College of Education, and binds future teachers of all subjects even closer together.

What do you want people to know about you?

I'm proud to be a Bulldog!

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

Follow the path that leads to the desires of YOUR heart.  You may feel pressure to attend a certain school or choose a certain major, but do not let outside sources distract you from your calling!  Go where you want to go and study what you want to study!  Ultimately, you are the one who has to live your life-choose something that will give you a sense of fulfillment when leaving your workplace every day!
