Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

When I first visited MSU, I fell in love with the campus and the community around the school.  No matter where I was, everyone I met was kind and helpful. I knew I wanted to pursue a degree in education because that was how I was going to make an impact. Teachers are people the world will always need and by doing it, I can help influence the life of a young student and even change their perspective on the world around them.

What do you want people to know about you?

I love making new friends and going on adventures.  I also love to read having favorite genres such as fantasy, fiction, and romance.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

Don't get sucked into the views of the people around you.  Don't be afraid to take that first step outside of your comfort zone. You'll be surprised what you can do once you overcome your own box. Apply to every scholarship you can, and don't be afraid of leaving your friends and family behind. If they're true, they'll keep in touch.
