Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I decided to come to Mississippi State University and pursue a degree in education because every time I stepped foot on campus, I knew this is exactly where I needed to be.

What do you want people to know about you?

I knew from the beginning of my college search that I wanted to attend a smaller school, but one thing I did not want to sacrifice was an SEC experience.  Just so happens that MSU is the smallest SEC school, and I could not have chosen a better fit for me.  Mississippi State's campus and faculty make me feel so welcomed-even being out-of-state.  That is something that I am extremely grateful for.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

Don't stress about your future 4 years from now.  If you're unsure of what you want to do for the rest of your life, that's okay. Many college kids don't know either. Take some time to discover YOUR passions and interests.  Don't get caught up in worrying about your future salary, your happiness and purpose is much more important than the numbers on a paycheck.  If you have a passion for something, you will be successful.
