Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education? 

I decided to come to MSU to pursue a degree in education, because I knew that I had people there invested in me. The staff there wanted to see me succeed, and I knew they would help me to achieve my goal in getting my degree there at MSU. Also, the school was known for its great teaching program, and I was so fortunate to be a part of METP!

What did you want people to know about you? 

I seemed introverted at first when people met me, but I was actually pretty extroverted. I loved meeting new people.

What activities were you involved in on campus? 

I was involved in a sorority on campus and in community service groups.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school? 

Your grades still count during senior year - so don't slack on your studies!
