Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I decided to come to MSU because I grew up in this town and have always been a part of the MSU college life with my family's involvement with the college students at our church. I absolutely love the environment. I chose to pursue education because I have known for a long time that I want to work with children or just be helpful in some capacity. I started out pursuing a biological sciences degree to work towards becoming a Pediatrician. Over the past few years I slowly found my way to the education field and at first I was unsure if I would like it or not. Once I started my first semester in this field, I knew immediately that this is where I belong. 

What do you want people to know about you?

I am pretty easy going, but I also stand firm in my beliefs. I love to just casually talk but also get into deep conversations about whatever topic is brought up. I am passionate about teaching and even though I have only been in the education field for a year now, I have been gradually increasing my passion for this field. I can't wait to be more involved and learn more throughout my last year at MSU.
