Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I have always known I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. The concentration has gone back and forth, but in middle school I had the absolute best math teacher, and I decided then that I wanted to be that teacher for other students. The reason I chose to come to Mississippi State is because of the atmosphere. I knew I wanted the SEC environment and small town feel and Mississippi State is a good mix of both. 

What do you want people to know about you?

I love hanging out with friends and meeting new people. When I am hanging out with friends, I love to go shopping and eat with them, especially Mexican food. I also love my family and my dog Penny. I am so excited for the next four years at Mississippi State and the years to follow!
