Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I chose to come to MSU because of the amazing community of people on and off campus. MSU students and staff have welcomed me with open arms and have encouraged me to get involved with my areas of interests and have given me opportunities to reach my goals. I chose to pursue a degree in education at MSU again for the amazing community within the education programs but also because of my love for children and passion for teaching!

What do you want people to know about you?

I am a Sophomore at MSU, and I am super excited and proud to be a part of the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program! I am thankful for the opportunity, especially since I was yet to decide if teaching was the direction I wanted to take in college throughout my fall semester of freshman year! I cannot wait to get involved in the program, meet new people, and to learn more about my future career!
