Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I feel that teaching is the career I am called to do. I am passionate about learning and the lives of children. I chose MSU because the atmosphere feels like home to me as my family has always been State fans.
What do you want people to know about you?
I love the Lord with all my heart, and my goal in life is to serve him to the best of my abilities. My life long dream has always been to be a wife, mother, and educator. As I am getting married in the summer of 2022 and continuing my education, I am slowly reaching my dreams.
What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?
My advice is to go with your heart. Money and earnings are not always the best way to choose a career. Do something you're passionate about. Being a teacher is an especially hard job, so if you're considering teaching, be sure you are not just in it for "the summers off".
