Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I was born in Starkville and raised a bulldog at BHS and would love to continue my education somewhere both my parents graduated. Also, my mom was a teacher, and I have always felt inspired by that. I want to educate kids too and to make an impact on the next generations.

What do you want people to know about you?

I love the arts and was involved in Show Choir at Brandon High School, which is competitive singing and dancing.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

I would tell upcoming freshmen or any high school student to set goals, surround yourself with people who will help you reach those goals, and get involved as much as possible.
