Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I have always loved an adventure. Mississippi State gave me the opportunity for both! I am able to move 9 hours from home, and I still feel like I have a family through METP. The METP family was what truly convinced me that MSU was home, and this is where my next chapter would begin! As soon as I visited, I knew that I was meant to be a bulldog, and I knew that Starkville was where I was meant to be!

What do you want people to know about you?

I think that people should know that I love to make new friends! If you see me around, please say hi! People should also know that I am an avid t-shirt collector, and if there are ever animals involved in anything, I will be there!   

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

The best advice that I can give you is to not be afraid; face your next step head on. You will be provided with so many opportunities v ery quickly-do not be afraid to try things out! Get involved, find what you like, and do what makes you happy! This is the best time to figure out who you are.
