Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?
When I was a little girl, two of my favorite things were going to Mississippi State football games and "playing school" with my friends. I always dreamed of going to school at MSU, and I always dreamed of being a teacher one day. After looking into Mississippi State's College of Education, I knew that there was nowhere else I could go to be better prepared to be an educator. I love that MSU has a very close-knit, family-like atmosphere, while also having the amazing resources and opportunities of a large university.
What do you want people to know about you?
I love to meet new people and travel to new places! My faith in Christ is extremely important to me, and I have a huge passion for investing in the lives of younger students as they journey through life. I love to go out and have fun with friends, but I also love to stay home and watch movies or play games!
What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?
Use every single opportunity you have to make a difference. Make it your goal to show God's love and spread joy to each person you come in contact with, and be intentional in serving others. You never know how one smile or encouraging word could change someone's life!
