Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I was drawn to MSU because of the top-notch authentic support and unmatched resources that MSU, METP, and the Bulldog family provide. I am confident that these factors will allow me to become the best educator I can be. My passion to pursue education is fueled by my past teachers and love for reading. I aspire to provide my future students with the skills to appreciate the power and beauty of language and literature.

What do you want people to know about you?

I have always loved stories. Reading a diverse array of stories has gifted me the ability to look at the world with a wider scope, a gift I think everyone should have access to. I also love sports and the stories they curate. From Connor Hujsak hitting a homer at the bottom of the ninth to a Jersey cow wandering onto a football field, I believe stories are what make sports and life so enjoyable. I am always looking to experience a new story. Lastly, I hope everyone knows that their story is worth telling.
